Environmentally Conscious Site Assessment
When moving to a new location, it is often important to understand the land on which you will now call your home. Maxwelton GeoSolutions, LTD. can help! Our site assessments are a very inexpensive way to learn about the surroundings of your future home, business, or land purchase. The site assessment can be catered to best suit your needs, desires, and future plans for the property, and if in a karst region (region where limestone dominates and subsurface conditions are unpredictable) or in mining regions, the site assessment can be an extremely valuable service that can save you thousands down the road in repairs due to subsidence, collapse, water well placement, just to name a few. Many regional engineering firms that would be able to assist an individual with a site assessment do not have karst geologists as a part of their staff, and thus, do not have the best management practices for dealing with problems in karst. It is our experience that will give you an edge whether you are purchasing land to build, want to make an addition to an existing building or home, or need to plan how to deal with storm water management issues. Plus, we'll throw in a few extras that will help you learn more about the land around you, which can help with planning a garden, keeping your home or business warmer in cold winter months, and understanding more about unique features on your land. Although these site assessments are ideal for karst settings, they are recommended and extremely helpful in any geologic setting.
Site assessments are available for both residential and commercial property, with services catered to each. All work is conducted by a karst geologist, so you can be sure that we are ready to help you understand the most complicated of landforms. Please see below for the two major assessment packages, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
